Recognizing that the work our students and graduates do is often highly stressful, the Law School offers a variety of tools for reducing stress and enriching learning and professional life. Professional instructors teach weekly classes in both yoga and in meditation.

In addition to these concrete aids, faculty, staff, and students may informally explore the role of contemplation and mindfulness in a variety of lawyering activities. The Contemplative Lawyering Working group has begun a library on this new and growing area within legal education, and sponsors educational programs for the Law School community on relevant topics.
