The Center has been following closely the developments surrounding Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals — commonly known as DACA or deferred action — the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) policy that, as of August 15, 2012, has allowed certain undocumented students to apply for a work permit.
Please check back for more updates on DACA, as well as for information on future events sponsored by CLORE and other organizations aimed at creating awareness about the initiative and its implications for more comprehensive immigration reform.
