The Court system, where graduates have served as judicial clerks in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Sixth and Ninth Circuits; United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, Central District of California (LA) and Massachusetts; United States Magistrate Judges and Bankruptcy Judges; United States Court of International Trade; the New York State Court of Appeals, New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Appellate Term, Surrogate Court, and Civil Court; Pennsylvania Family Court; New Jersey Family Court; and trial and appellate courts in New Jersey. Our graduates have also begun to enter the adjudicative branch of government agencies, serving, for example, as Administrative Law Judges for the New York State Public Service Commission and the Department of Social Services; and Hearing Officers for the New York City Board of Education.

Legislative and Executive Branches including the United States Congress, where graduates have worked as Counsel, Administrative Assistant and Assistant Legislative Directors to Congress members; the New York State Assembly and Senate, where graduates have been staff members and counsel to Members; the New York City Council; the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York; and the Office of the Governor of Puerto Rico. Our graduates now also hold public offices including New York State Assembly member and President of the Troy City Council.

We take pride in the accomplishments of all our graduates and we note especially those who, seeing unmet needs in un-served and underserved communities, have founded and now direct new public interest law organizations such as the American Indian Law Alliance; the Center for Disability Advocacy Rights; the Community Advocacy Center; Legal Information for Families Today; AIDS Center of Queens County, Legal Program; Queens Women's Center, Legal Clinic for Women in Crises; Network of Women's Services; Sepa Mujer; and InTOUCH.
