Stephanie McGregor, Associate Director, joined the office in 2005. Prior to joining CUNY Law School, she served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York Law Department, Office of Corporation Counsel, for 15 years. She worked as the citywide associate responsible for prosecution and litigation of unsafe buildings for the New York City Department of Buildings and maintained an ongoing active caseload of more than 50 affirmative and defensive cases challenging or initiating municipal actions. Following a career at the Law Department, she was a hearing examiner/administrative judge with the City Department of Finance and the City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Stephanie received her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, and her J.D. from Rutgers University Law School. She also has an M.B.A. from Pace University and an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University. She served as a Board member of the Association of Black Women Attorneys and has been a volunteer with the law student mentoring group, Practicing Attorneys for Law Students (PALS).
