No Vote, No Voice: Impact of Disenfranchisement on Communities of Color

Latinos are the largest ethnic group in the country and a growing demographic population.But do numbers translate to political power? The program speakers will address issues related to Latino voting rights, felony disenfranchisement, the 2010 Census and the status of current and future Latino political empowerment.

Speakers:

  • Juan Cartagena, General Counsel of the Community Service Society
  • Angelo Falcon, President and Founder of the National Institute for Latino Policy

Refreshments will be served. This program is supported by the Criminal Law Society, American Constitution Society and the Latin American law Students Association (LALSA).
