A graduate of Northwestern University, he was a member of CUNY School of Law's inaugural class in 1986. After graduation, he worked as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York in Albany, specializing in government benefits, health law, and family law. Professor Rosenberg has made numerous presentations for attorneys and consumers on elder law issues, including guardianships, supplemental needs trusts, government benefits, and estate planning. His current interests include exploring the use of on-line learning in his Lawyering Seminar and expanding a clinic project to help protect the rights of indigent adults in guardianship proceedings.
