Meredith Gibbs, Senior Associate Dean of Administration and Finance, comes to the Law School with over a decade of experience in public higher education administration, having served in leadership roles as Chief of Staff at Wayne State University, Provost for Operations at Miami Dade College, and most recently, as Vice President for Administration of the Medical Foundation at the University of North Carolina's (Chapel Hill) School of Medicine.

A New Jersey native, Meredith went on to attend Rice University in Houston, Texas where she majored in Sociology and Spanish. She returned to NYC to attend Columbia Law School where she served as an editor of the Human Rights Law Review and clerked for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. After law school, she clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit for Judge Francis D. Murnaghan and later practiced environmental and wetlands protection law in Maryland.
