It
is an exciting time in the CUNY Law Alumni and Development Office.
We have been working with the Director of Communications on updating the
look and content of the CUNY Law
magazine. The magazine will still serve to strengthen and reinforce our
community of alums, but it will now reach out to a wider audience of people who
support CUNY School of Law, as well as people interested in learning more about
the School’s mission. Look for the newest updates in the hard copy and online
versions of the Spring 2008 magazine.
Another new feature of the alumni community is a monthly e-newsletter. We
are now providing you with a visually appealing and informative e-mail every
month, letting you know what resources we have to offer while also asking you
to stay connected to your alma mater. This new e-newsletter will be the
flagship communication of our office, serving to fill in the gaps between
issues of the magazine and providing you with time-sensitive updates.
We are enthusiastic about these changes as a way to serve you better and
increase the general sense of community in the alum network. As always, please
stay in touch with our office about any life or career changes you want to
share with CUNY Law.
Alumni and Development
Staff
There is a new Coordinator of Alumni Affairs on board in the
Development and Alumni Office, Ansley Davenport. While many of you have received
e-mails from Ansley or spoken to her directly, she looks forward to being in
contact with an even wider scope of alums and community members in the future.
Originally from rural Virginia, Ansley attended Sarah Lawrence College, and
focused her studies on history and literature. A focus on social justice and a
passion for building a stronger network of alums and supporters is what brought
Ansley to CUNY School of Law.
