Writing at CUNY Law School: A Pervasive Approach
Writing in Administrative Law
Professor Rebecca Bratspies
Students in Professor Bratspies' Administrative Law class research and write a brief report about a proposed federal regulation. Each student engages in independent research to identify a proposed regulation for which the relevant federal agency is soliciting public comment. The students are responsible for summarizing the proposed rule and for drafting a comment on the rule's advisability. Students are encouraged, though not required, to exercise their right to submit this comment to the agency. Submitted comments become part of the official rulemaking process.
