Under "Search," select "Laws of New York," then go to the "Miscellaneous" category at the bottom of Laws of New York page for the links. NYC Local LawsProvided through the NY City Council Web site. Local laws, introductions and resolutions can be searched by keyword on the first screen using boolean connectors (see help link). Use the "advanced search" link for more options, including searching by law number and sponsor. Date field shows year choices going back to 1998. NYC Council ReportsAlthough reports are not "laws," the reports inform the Council in determining whether new bills should be proposed or passed. The list here appears to be selective and not organized in any way that would aid someone doing legislative history on a particular local law. For legislative history, contact the Speaker's office and try to obtain the Council bill jacket. There may also be a mayoral bill jacket at the Office of City Legislative Affairs or the Municipal Archives.
