The New York Times quotes Amy Taylor (06) in an article on how the lack of translations services undermines an individual's ability to secure welfare benefits and food stamps. Taylor, an attorney examining compliance of city agencies, is with the Language Access Project at Legal Services New York, which is suing New York City charging violation of the Equal Access to Human Services Act.
