Today's New York Times features a letter to the editor from Professor and Interim Assistant Dean Angela Burton who reminds the press and policymakers that it isn't just excessive force that is being used to control children in prison, but drugs as well. Overmedicating and force are not the answer: She said it's time to take action to protect children in custody.
