Prof. Bratspies Appointed to ABA Environmental Law Committee

Professor Rebecca Bratspies who has published widely on key environmental legal issues, was recently appointed to a three-year term on the ABA Standing Committee on Environmental Law and was named co-chair of the ABA 2010 National Spring Conference on the Environment. The Standing Committee's work is "devoted to examination and analysis of emerging environmental law and policy issues; development of ABA policies in the field; and communication about the myriad environmental law activities taking place throughout the Association," according to their website. The topics on which Professor Bratspies publishes includes environmental liability, regulatory uncertainty, regulation of international fisheries, and regulation of genetically modified food crops.
