From Pre-law Orientation in August to commencement in May, the staff in the office of Student Affairs works to ensure that students at CUNY School of Law have a supportive and professional environment in which to pursue a career in social justice lawyering. Sarah Valentine, the Director of Student Affairs, is available to counsel students with individual academic or personal difficulties that may impact on their study of law. To further facilitate student success during law school, the staff in Student Affairs works directly with Career Services, the Children's Center, the Nurse Practitioner and the law school Clinical Social Worker to provide students an unparalleled range of support services.
The Student Affairs office is also responsible for providing support for students with disabilities, authorizing makeup exams, coordinating student government elections, advising student organizations, administering fellowships and scholarships, facilitating the scheduling of student activities, and acting as a clearinghouse for housing listings.
For more information please contact us by e-mail or by phone at (718) 340-4207.
The Office of Registration & Student Records Management handles registration functions, maintains students records, handles requests for transcripts and proof of enrollment, processes grades, and certifies students for graduation and the bar examination.
