FAMILY HEALTH PLUS
NY State's no-cost health insurance program for adults who do not currently have health insurance - either on their own or through their employers but have incomes too high to qualify for Medicaid. Family Health Plus is available to single adults (age 19-64 earning up to $10,890.00 per year), couples without children, and parents with low income (parents in a family of 4 earning up to $33,525 per year), who live in NY State and are US Citizens or fall under one of many immigrant categories. NO co-payments, deductibles or contributions once a student has enrolled. Application, certain information, and personal interview required.
