Important Dates

March 23 - Return graduation survey to Office of Student Affairs
April 1 - Last day to order regalia online
April 25 - Graduation Rehearsal at Colden Auditorium

Commencement Ceremony
Commencement will be at Selma and Max Kupferberg Center for the Performing Arts, Colden Auditorium, Queens College. Click here for information on parking and directions to Kupferberg Center.

Graduates must arrive at the Colden Auditorium at 10:00 a.m. for a group photograph. Family and friends will be admitted at 10:30 a.m.

If you or a guest are in need of handicapped or special seating accommodations, please contact our Public Safety Director, Steve Katz, by e-mail by Friday, May 4. He will explain what options are available to you.

Reception
Immediately following the graduation ceremony, there will be a reception at the law school. This is an opportunity for your family and friends to meet the CUNY School of Law community. Light food and refreshments will be served.

Graduation Regalia
You must order your graduation regalia online by Sunday, April 1, 2012.

Your regalia is being paid for by your materials fees, but you must order it online. Please note: There is a gold tassel included with your regalia that has the graduation date attached, which will be used on graduation day and which you will be able to keep. The Cardinal Silver Souvenir Tassel for sale on the website is an extra $8.95 and must be paid for separately by you if you choose to order it. There is a souvenir tassel on display in the Student Affairs office, room 105C.

You will pick up your regalia in the Career Planning Office, Room 105H, on a date to be announced. Your gown and hood must be returned to the Law School immediately following graduation. The cap and tassel are yours to keep. We will have a drop-off station for you to leave the items to be returned. This must be done directly following the graduation ceremony.

Commencement Photography
On the day of graduation, a professional photographer will take a photograph of the entire class and take individual photographs as you receive your diploma. Proofs will be sent during the summer to the address you specify on your graduation survey, and you will have the option of purchasing them. You are under no obligation to purchase photos or have your picture taken.

Hotel Reservations
The Law School reserves a block of rooms at:

Each individual is responsible for making his/her own reservation by calling the hotel directly at 718-426-1500 or 888-243-2111. When your guests are making reservations, they must identify themselves with the "CUNY Law School Graduation" to ensure they receive the special discounted rate. The rooms must be reserved by Friday, May 13th to receive the special rate of $119 per night plus taxes. Overnight parking is $18 per day.
