The CUNY School of Law chapter of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of law students who place a premium on individual liberty, traditional values, and the rule of law. We believe that the state exists to preserve freedom, that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it ought to be. Our mission is to promote an awareness of these principles within the CUNY School of Law community and organize discussion groups, lectures, and debates during the school year.
