DESCRIPTION:With climate change becoming an ever present threat\, people are using the court system to prevent future damage. This CLE will be a discussion of the status of current climate litigation domestically and internationally as well as how these intersect with human rights laws. \nPresenters:\nSuzanne Sangree\, Esq. (’86)\, Senior Counsel\, Grant & Eisenhofer\nEleanor Stein\, JD\, LLM (’86)\, Adjunct Professor\, State University of New York at Albany \nCredits:\n3 CLE credits: 2 Professional Practice\, 0.5 Ethics & Professionalism\, 0.5 Diversity\, Inclusion & Elimination of Bias \nCost:\nFree for CUNY Law alumni\, faculty\, staff\, and students. $75.00 for all others. Click here to register. \nCLE Credits are provided by the Community Legal Resource Network at CUNY School of Law:\nThis CLE program is approved for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys\, except that newly admitted attorneys are not eligible for the 0.5 diversity credit. Consistent with NY State regulations\, CLE credit will be offered only to those attorneys completing the entire session; attorneys attending only part of a session are not eligible for partial credit. Attorneys arriving late are welcome to attend the program but will not be eligible for credit.
