Resentencing Victory in Manhattan
In December 2025, Second Look Project NY achieved a landmark resentencing for client Korey Liggins after arguing that his young age should have precluded him from receiving Life Without Parole twenty years ago.
Two more clients granted clemency
On December 30, 2025, Governor Hochul commuted the prison sentences of two Second Look Project NY clients, Terrance Cole and Raphael Jackson, both men in their 50s who have long demonstrated remorse and rehabilitation.
