Steve Zeidman writes for The Daily News: “Now that COVID-19 is undeniably in New York State prisons, the pressure is mounting on Gov. Cuomo to do something about the 46,000 people behind bars. There is an urgent and growing call for the governor to release people defined by the Centers for Disease Control as most at-risk: older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions.”
