Unrestricted gifts allow the Foundation to direct funds based on the greatest need at the Law School, enabling funds to immediately go to helping CUNY Law students. And, of course, you can also restrict your gift for a specific program or purpose. With your gift, please be sure to include your name and contact information so that your donation may be credited correctly and acknowledged.

We also welcome donations by donor-advised funds (DAF); please contact us if you require any assistance and take a moment to notify us of a pending grant.

Stock Transfer: When you transfer ownership of securities to the CUNY School of Law Foundation, you will receive a charitable deduction for the full market value. You may find that you can make a larger contribution by giving stock – particularly stock that has appreciated in value – rather than cash. Please include your name, purpose of the gift, contact information, and name of the company, and the number of shares, so that your donation may be credited correctly and acknowledged.

Wire Transfer: An efficient and expeditious way to make a gift, wire transfers need to include detailed information, including your name, purpose of the gift, and contact information, so that your donation may be credited correctly and acknowledged.
