CUNYFIRST FINANCIAL AID TOOLS
Students receiving Financial Aid will be able to view all of their information in their CUNYfirst account. CUNYfirst announcements are sent to you via your law school email address, so be sure to check your law school email often for updates and instructions on using CUNYfirst Financial Aid Tools.

View your complete student record, unofficial transcripts, make appointments with faculty, see your complete financial profile, view your tuition and fee balance, pay by credit card online, and much more.

To begin using CUNYfirst you must first claim your account ID.

Go to https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu

  • On the Login page, click ‘New User’
  • On the Account Activation page, enter the following:
    • First Name, Last Name as they appear on your submitted application.
    • Date of Birth (‘D.O.B’) in mm-dd-yyyy format (example: 01-02-1999)
    • The last four digits of your Social Security Number or CUNY assigned ID Number in the ‘SS#’ field. Applicants who do not have a Social Security Number will be provided their assigned four digit number.
    • Click the box next to the words “I’m not a robot” and follow the CAPTCHA text prompts.
  • Confirm account email address: confirm your email address on the following page or enter a new email.
  • Create a password and set your five (5) password retrieval questions
