Carmen Huertas, Missy Risser-Lovings, and Chris Adams’s chapter, Scaling Worker Cooperatives as an Economic Justice Tool for Communities in Crises, describes the roles attorneys are playing in efforts to establish worker-owned and directed enterprises that can be brought to scale to benefit those in crisis, especially those most marginalized by the prevailing political and economic order. It appears in the forthcoming book Crisis Lawyering: Effective Legal Advocacy in Emergency Situations.
