Adelaide Rodriguez (she/her) is the Assistant Director of Communication and Office Management at CUNY School of Law, a place that she has called her professional home for over a decade. Adelaide began her CUNY journey in the law school’s library before transitioning to the Admissions department. A significant component of Adelaide’s various responsibilities include the recruitment of potential CUNY School of Law students, and individuals willing to trailblaze substantial change. When she isn’t traveling the nation looking for new prospects, Adelaide oversees the coordination of admissions events and ensures the day -to- day operations of the office are running smoothly. Adelaide loves the work she does and has always been passionate about diversification and equal opportunity being upheld within the legal profession.

Adelaide was born and raised in New York City to an Argentinean mother and Puerto Rican father. She is fluent in Spanish thanks to her childhood summers spent overseas in her mother’s native city of Buenos Aires. Adelaide’s heritage also played an essential role in her collegiate studies as she went on to receive a BA from Berkeley College in NYC, majoring in International Business.

Adelaide developed a passion for fine cuisine while visiting Argentina and other countries around the world. Her favorite meal is a juicy piece of steak! In her free time, she likes to explore new restaurants throughout the city, steaks are preferred; however, they are not always required.

Adelaide met her husband in college, and now are raising three children and two dogs together. The family has been residing in Queens, New York for the last decade. Adelaide is thankful for having the opportunity to raise her children in such diverse environment. Adelaide and her family love taking daily walks with her Pit-Bull Terrier Brandy and Shih-Tzu Buddy.
