Mohammed Hossian, ’22, was awarded the 2020 South Asian Bar Association’s Fellowship. He will be working with DC 37, which is New York City’s largest public employee union, representing about 150,000 members and 50,000 retirees.

As a former intern at the New York State Liquor Authority and as former staff at Jones Day for intellectual property law, Mohammed is no stranger to helping businesses and their consumers work symbiotically towards shared goals.

Mohammed will be spending his time providing counsel to public union employees on bankruptcy law, consumer protections, and consumer fraud.
