Purpose

Early Alert is a proactive tool for connecting students with the resources they need to stay on track and succeed. It enables faculty to quickly flag concerns, refer students to relevant support services, and open a direct line of communication, ensuring no student navigates challenges alone.

With Early Alert, you can:

  • Flag emerging concerns—academic, engagement, or attendance—so they can be addressed early.
  • Refer students directly to Skills, Writing, & Academic Advising centers for targeted support.
  • Send personalized messages that invite students to connect and take advantage of available resources.

How It Works

  1. Log in and select the student(s) you want to connect with support
  2. Choose the alert type: Assignments, Engagement, or Prioritize for Advising Outreach
  3. (Optional) Refer the student to the Skills, Writing & Academic Advising centers
  4. Send your message—support teams will follow up within 48 hours.
