On October 15, 2025, Burns Chair Kristen Clarke met with students in Queens, visiting John Bowne High School in Flushing and The Baccalaureate School for Global Education in Astoria. Students took part in conversations about civil rights issues affecting their communities and learned about pathways into social justice law.
These visits reflect CUNY Law’s ongoing connection with the Queens community and its commitment to broadening access to legal education while engaging the next generation of advocates working toward systemic change.
