We celebrated the 201 graduates in the Class of 2024 with a week of events, culminating in the commencement ceremony held at the Apollo Theater in Harlem on Thursday, May 23. From a graduation portrait reception to the celebration for grads from Pipeline to Justice, our signature access initiative, the Law School community came together. On Wednesday, May 22, the celebrations continued with the Student Awards Night featuring student-selected the awards and honors, including the Community Service Award, presented to Therese McNulty ’09, and Professor Gregory Louis, the recipient of the Outstanding Professor Award. Karimah Shabazz and Ashley Weaver, the student-selected speakers representing the part-time and full-time program, respectively, delivered moving speeches.
