CUNY School of Law welcomed the CUNY LGBT+ Advisory Council into the building as they hosted their spring networking meeting. Dean Sudha Setty welcomed guests and Council President Mitch Draizin and Peter Cohen, the Program Chairman who oversees the youth mentorship component of the Council, hosted a panel discussion called The State of LGBT+ Rights and Legislation, with moderator Craig Konnoth, University of Virginia Law Professor in conversation with Jose Abrigo ’13, HIV Project Director, Lambda Legal, Elana Redfield ’08, Federal Policy Director, the Williams Institute, and Ari Shaw, Senior Fellow and Director of International Programs, the Williams Institute.
