Bibi N. Amin

Bibi N. Amin (she/her) works as an Admissions Coordinator at the CUNY School of Law. She is committed to access and equity for students, communities of color and others who are marginalized. She has carried that commitment to higher education throughout her decade as an admission professional first at Queens College, and now at the CUNY School of Law where her work supports the school's mission in being in service to every candidate and student. Her work at CUNY Law includes but is not limited to advising potential law school students, reviewing first-year, transfer, and visiting applications, pre-law advisor liaison, and conduct campus tours. When Bibi is not assisting future radical public interest lawyers, she is advocating for equity and sustainability for the Caribbean LGBTQ+ community. As an immigrant from Guyana, first-generation student, and member of the LGBTQ+ community, finding a home in college was challenging until she stepped foot onto a CUNY campus. She is a proud graduate of Queens College where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and minor in Urban Studies. She currently lives in the most diverse city in New York City, Queens. And, when she finds herself missing her birth country, she enjoys taking a drive through Richmond Hill aka Little Guyana to enjoy the taste of home. She highly recommends trying chicken curry and roti if you have never done so!
