Deborah Zalesne is a professor of law at the City University of New York School of Law where she teaches in the areas of contract, corporate, and commercial law. Her scholarship involves family, intimate contracts, and the market. She has also published and presented extensively in the areas of legal pedagogy and learning theory, as well as gender discrimination and sexual harassment law. She works extensively with incarcerated writers, and her current scholarship involves the harms of solitary confinement.
