Nominations Open for the W. Haywood Burns Chair in Human & Civil Rights

CUNY Law is excited to announce the return of the W. Haywood Burns Chair in Human & Civil Rights and is seeking nominations and applications for the distinguished visiting faculty position.

Professor Kassem, a national expert on immigration and national security issues, brings years of academic and practical experience to his post as a Senior Policy Advisor for Immigration at the White House Domestic Policy Council.

Known as an exceptional legal educator, collaborative leader, and successful litigator with a commitment to social justice, Setty is thrilled to join the community and its mission. She will be the first person of South Asian descent appointed to lead a CUNY school.

Lisa is one of 17 advisers appointed by the prosecutor to provide advice within their respective mandates and may assist in training initiatives of the Office.
