In case you missed it, Associate Dean for Clinical Education and Professor Carmen Huertas-Noble’s induction ceremony to the Cooperative Hall of Fame is now available online. Though the COVID-safe ceremony meant advocates were unable to gather in person, the video is a moving celebration of Carmen’s longstanding commitment to promoting worker cooperatives as one of the best ways to help people overcome the effects of structural racism in New York City and beyond. Her leadership in the Community and Economic Development Clinic (CEDC) has helped establish it as a powerhouse contributor to community justice.
Current CEDC Co-Director Professor Missy Risser-Lovings ’13 nominated Carmen for the honor, and introduces Carmen before her remarks celebrating the occasion.
