The Queens Daily Eagle (QDE) is looking for CUNY School of Law students and professors to write stories about local issues from a legal perspective.

QDE has a focus on local legal, courthouse, and judicial news and the publication is seeking regular contributions from the CUNY School of Law that would provide its readers the valued perspective only legal scholars can give.

From the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision on New York’s eviction moratorium, to the closing of Rikers Island, to a battle over a homeless shelter in a local neighborhood, the topics you choose to explore can be as wide-ranging as you’d like, as long as they speak to the borough of Queens and its community.

If you’re interested in writing for the Queens Daily Eagle, email Chrissy Holman and Jacob Kaye with a one to two-paragraph pitch.

We look forward to this collaboration!
