Gayla Jacobson (she/her) is a dedicated advocate with a BA in Sociology from Pitzer College and an MPA from Baruch College. With a diverse career spanning the University of California San Francisco College of the Law and Southwestern Law School, Gayla currently serves at CUNY School of Law as the Director of Admissions, Enrollment, and Dual Degree Programs. She is a regular speaker advocating for the elimination of Criminal History inquiries in law school applications, work that has been recognized by the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) with an Unsung Hero Award. Beyond her institutional roles, Gayla serves nationally on the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) Mission and Impact Committee and locally supports New York City public schools as a member of a School Leadership Team.
