Maya Alperin (she/her) joined CUNY School of Law’s Admissions Office in 2015 and is currently the Associate Director for Data & Operations with CUNY School of Law’s Admissions Office. Maya plays a key role managing admissions data and processes to ensure a smooth and efficacious process for applicants and the law school. In addition to her work on the back-end of the admissions process, Maya’s other responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding admitted students, producing data reports for internal and external stakeholders, application review, and advising prospective students.

Prior to working at CUNY Law, Maya was a substitute teacher at several NYC public schools, including a 5-week stint teaching chemistry at Brooklyn Technical High School. Maya received Bachelors degrees in Geography and Environmental Planning from Binghamton University, where she also received her Master of Public Administration and a Certificate in Local Government Management.
