CUNY Law is committed to supporting you in every stage of your legal journey, including preparing for external exams. Although SDS does not manage these exam accommodations directly, we can provide the documentation you may need to support your request for external exams such as the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE), the New York State Bar Exam (NYS Bar), or the New York Law Exam (NYLE).

However, we can assist with a key part of the process: If you plan to request accommodations for any of these exams, you may need official documentation confirming the accommodations you received while enrolled at CUNY Law. Upon request, SDS can provide a PDF letter on institutional letterhead outlining your approved law school accommodations.

Please note that each external exam has its own documentation requirements and strict deadlines—often weeks or months in advance of the test date. We encourage you to plan ahead and contact SDS early to ensure you have the necessary documentation in time.
