Registration typically opens in April for summer and fall, and in November for spring. Exact dates are listed on the Academic Calendar.
First-Year Registration
Students in both the full-time and part-time programs are registered administratively for their first year of law school. For part-time students, this administrative registration also includes the first summer and second fall semester of their second year.
You can add/drop classes through Schedule Builder during the registration period, consult the course change policy for more information. For a withdrawal, complete the withdrawal form and consult the Withdrawal Policy.
Dropping a class removes it from your record and may allow for a tuition refund. Withdrawing happens after the drop deadline and results in a “W” on your transcript with no refund.
CUNY School of Law has retained Parchment to accept transcript orders over the Internet. In addition to the $7 transcript fee, you will be charged a $2 processing fee to use this service. The $7 transcript fee is waived for transcripts sent to other CUNY institutions; however, you will still be charged a $2 processing fee to order a transcript through Parchment.
