Low-wage Workers’ Rights: Basics & Recent Advancements in New York (CLE)

This CLE will give an overview of the current legal issues facing low-wage workers in New York with a focus on workers’ compensation, wage-and-hour violations, and the rights of immigrant workers, including undocumented workers. Instructors will also explore ethical matters such as discrimination and harassment.

CLE Credits are provided by the Community Legal Resource Network at CUNY School of Law:
This CLE program is approved for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys, except that newly admitted attorneys are not eligible for the 0.5 diversity credit. Consistent with NY State regulations, CLE credit will be offered only to those attorneys completing the entire session; attorneys attending only part of a session are not eligible for partial credit. Attorneys arriving late are welcome to attend the program but will not be eligible for credit. Also note that for remote trainings, attorneys must attend on the webinar; we cannot extend credit for audio-only.
