Join CUNY Law and Political Economy Collective in conversation with Conor Tomás Reed, author of New York Liberation School: Study and Movement for the People’s University. Reed will share their research on the legacy of Black, Puerto Rican, queer, and feminist scholars and activists who taught and studied at CUNY in the 1960s and 1970s. The book talk will draw connections between CUNY’s radical history, activism at CUNY Law, and CUNY Austerity. We encourage event attendees interested in reading New York Liberation School to participate in CUNY Law and Political Economy Collective’s forthcoming reading group.
