A Facilitation Program for learning how to address implicit bias and microaggressions, and to foster a more inclusive and respectful work environment.
A 2 hour program in which a facilitator will utilize social science, current events,
humor, and role-playing to provide participants with a greater awareness of the
following:
• The difference between explicit and implicit bias
• The different types of microaggressions
• How microaggressions impact educational environments
• How to handle microaggressions when they occur
Participants will learn how to admit biases, decrease microaggressions, and increase a level of cultural sensitivity in order to foster a more inclusive and effective workplace environment.
All events on this calendar are open to the public, or our students, alumni, faculty, staff, and supporter audiences.
