All Politics is Local: A User’s Guide to the Ins and Outs of New York Government, Elections, and Voting Rights (CLE)

This Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program will present a deep dive into the makings of New York’s governance structures from hyper-local to federal and how various communities work on the different levels to create change. It will also take a look at the Public Officers Law, and the recently enacted NY Voting Rights Act as well as timely issues around redistricting.

CLE Credits are provided by the Community Legal Resource Network at CUNY School of Law:
This CLE program is approved for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys. Consistent with NY State regulations, CLE credit will be offered only to those attorneys completing the entire session; attorneys attending only part of a session are not eligible for partial credit. Attorneys arriving late are welcome to attend the program but will not be eligible for credit. Also note that for remote trainings, attorneys must attend on the webinar; we cannot extend credit for audio-only participation.
