Introducing the CUNY Law Alumni Connection Series
Building Bridges. Strengthening Community. Supporting Each Other.
Join us on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, for the next meeting of the CUNY Law Alumni Connection Series — a new monthly virtual gathering designed to foster meaningful relationships among graduates across all class years and career paths.
The CUNY Law Alumni Connection Series is co-facilitated by alums Angela Torregoza ’12 and Yogi Patel ’06.

Each session will be an opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, and expand your professional network whether you’re practicing law, leading in public service, or pursuing impact in another field.
This month we spotlight alum Richard Celestin ’06, founder of Richard Celestin Consulting Group, LLC, and Attorney at Law. In an effort to empower, educate and inspire youth, Richard focuses on developing and providing legal skills development, self-awareness, youth empowerment, and consequential thinking programs to elementary, middle and high school students in NYC, New Jersey and Long Island, particularly with youth of color.
We’re also excited to spotlight the newest member of our Alumni Engagement and Initiatives team, Associate Director Nidia Cordova! Join us for the upcoming Alumni Series to connect, learn more about Richard and Nidia, and be part of the continued growth of our alumni community. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow alumni, hear what’s ahead, and get involved.
“Our alumni are the heartbeat of CUNY Law’s mission. This series is about rekindling connections, creating new ones, and building a community that continues to uplift one another long after graduation.” — Interim Dean Natalie Gomez-Velez
