Introducing the CUNY Law Alumni Connection Series
Building Bridges. Strengthening Community. Supporting Each Other.
Join us on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, for the second meeting of the CUNY Law Alumni Connection Series — a new monthly virtual gathering designed to foster meaningful relationships among graduates across all class years and career paths.
The CUNY Law Alumni Connection Series is co-facilitated by alums Angela Torregoza ’12 and Yogi Patel ’06.

Each session will be an opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, and expand your professional network whether you’re practicing law, leading in public service, or pursuing impact in another field.
February is the month of Valentine’s Day, and we’re celebrating the relationships that grow from our shared law school experience. We’re excited to spotlight CUNY Law alumnae Lisa Zayas ’11, Director of the Access to Justice Division of the NYS Unified Courts Office for Justice Initiatives, and Allie Robbins ’09, Managing Director of Academic Programs and Partnerships at Helix Bar Review by AccessLex, a CUNY Law couple who will join us for an engaging and candid conversation.
We’re also excited to have Sam Sue, Director of Career Planning, join us to say hello!
“Our alumni are the heartbeat of CUNY Law’s mission. This series is about rekindling connections, creating new ones, and building a community that continues to uplift one another long after graduation.” — Interim Dean Natalie Gomez-Velez
