Mediation & Advocacy Skills Training and Spotlight Resources & Opportunities in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) [CLE]

What do effective mediators and advocates have in common? Both draw from the same skill set and resources. Learn more about this directly from Federal and New York State Court Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program leaders and practitioners. This Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program will be presented in two segments. The first segment will involve discussion of mediation preparation. In the second segment, program leaders will provide specific information about the ADR Programs which they oversee and tips for effective dispute resolution.

These CLE programs are approved for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys, except that newly admitted attorneys are not eligible for the Diversity, Inclusion & Elimination of Bias credit. Consistent with NY State regulations, CLE credit will be offered only to those attorneys completing the entire session; attorneys attending only part of a session are not eligible for partial credit. Attorneys arriving late are welcome to attend the program but will not be eligible for credit. Also note that for remote programs, attorneys must view the webinar; we cannot extend credit for audio-only participation.
