Understanding Implicit Bias and Communicating Intentionally

A Facilitation Program geared towards learning how to address implicit bias and microaggressions, in order to foster a more inclusive work environment.

A 2 hours program in which a facilitator will utilize social science, current events, humor, and role-playing to provide participants with a greater awareness of the
following:

• The difference between explicit and implicit bias
• The different types of microaggressions
• How microaggressions impact educational environments
• How to handle microaggressions when they occur

Participants will learn how to admit biases, decrease microaggressions, and increase a level of cultural sensitivity in order to foster a more inclusive and effective workplace environment.
