Professor James Forman Jr. , a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and expert in race and class dimensions of schools, police, and prisons will visit CUNY Law for the 2024-2025 academic year as this year's W. Haywood Burns Chair
Professor Forman and expert guests will explore how criminal justice advocates, including those who were once incarcerated themselves, are fighting to make prisons less destructive and to increase opportunity for people leaving prison.
